WEST SIDE STORY (NW2) Closed strongly from second over and just missed. Beaten favorite should get it done in next.

CONTINUAL VELOCITY (NW8000FM) Was parked all the way, challenged to the final turn, refused to go away despite tiring and would be no surprise in next with any kind of trip.

PAPER BACKED LINDY (NW2) Got parked all the way, prompted the pace to the stretch, dug in while tiring.

KING ROYALTY (AUTUMN) Finished wide and fast from an impossible spot but cannot be discounted in next leg of series.

DREAMFAIR ECLIPSE (NW5000FM) Came from far back in game rally through the stretch but simply ran out of track.

WHEELS (NW5000) Was parked a long way to the top, set a press pace all the way and dug in gamely while tiring.

DAPPER DENZIL (CLMHCP10/12000) Followed the favored winner wide into the lane finished gamely to earn a long look in next.

LIFEIMITTATESART (NW8100) Finished fast from an impossible spot to early second as the prohibitive favorite humbled the field and passed seven or eight foes to get his check.

HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS (NW4) Had enough to be a serious stretch threat but was in much too tight in the pocket as the leader tired and broke.
