Woodbine Harness: Horses To Watch for October 11 - October 15

Ken Walters|Oct 18, 2012

Thursday, October 11

PHOTO MASS (NW1/2-3YO) Beaten favorite was stuck in stretch traffic and never had a chance to fire best shot.

PERTTY MUSIC (NW40000/2YOF) Was locked in the pocket too tight to get out and would have made her presence felt.

COOL CREEK BREEZE (OntS3YOF) Chased the winner home through the lane second best on the board and on the track.

ALEXIS LIL MAN (CLMHCP10/15000/3YO) Was locked in last eighth climbing and searching. Should win next.

Friday, October 12

SUGAR VALLEY ALLEY (CLMHCP20/30000) Battled the favorite head to head a long way, refused to go away but could not go by. Should be along in time soon.

CLASSY LANE ROSE (NW13000FM) Got stuck in the pocket, had no room, could not wiggle out and was forced to hold her best for next time.

SHIFTIN GEARTOGEAR (CLMHCP15/20000) Grinded to the top, set the pace under pressure throughout, put away the challenger but could not stop the fresher fast closing winner.

DRIVING MISS DEO (NW3FM) Tipped the rail in the early stretch, angled wide through traffic, set down, rushed home but was a few steps too late.

Saturday, October 13

CLEOPATRA DUHARAS (NW5000) Beaten favorite finished fast but too late in last and is eligible to atone in last.

FRANCESCHETTI (OntS3YO) Was wrapped up romping to victory in last over the sloppy track and can take another facing same kind.

WARRAWEE KOINE (NW28500FM) Yielded twice, sat pocket, held the rest in well matched field and should be close in next race or two.

YOU BET YOUR GLASS (NW5000) Came wide before the half trying to clear dead cover but took some steps and was stuck wide too long to menace but did close with some speed once into the lane.

Monday, October 15

DANIEL SEMALU (CLMHCP/3YO) Made a bold late rally only to miss a neck to the favorite. Should be able to find the right field.

GOOD SOUND ADVICE (NW2) Came wide, rallied strongly, had aim late but was nailed on the wire at 9-1. Can get to the winner's circle with same move versus most.

CATCH THE DREAM (NW13000) Game out second to the awesome Intimidate in last effort and should be a major factor facign own kind.

PINNACLE PEAK (CLM10000) Finished fastest of all to beat the weak ones in last at 37-1. Do not ignore.
