Ken Walters|Oct 25, 2017

Thursday, October 19

PEARL BLUE CHIP (NW1/2-3YOF) beaten favorite had too far to come but gobbled up ground and foes with a huge rally from nowhere.

WESMONT (NW2) sat pocket to the third panel, pulled, challenged and rolled home best in breaker shortened field.

NORTHERN MAJOR (NW2) gapped early, rallied to the third panel and finished with a full head of steam to win going away and can take another.

ANOTHER CHAPTER (NW3) was far back and found another gear. Took a step in tight quarters, avoided trouble and got going. Finished strong and earns a look in next.

OSBORNE SEELSTER (NW2) rolled along on an open lead and was a handy winner in last outing.

Friday, October 20

DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE (NW3FM) pulled to the third call, lost cover heading home as the lead changed but rallied gamely to earn the place spot.

WILL TAKE CHARGE (NW8000) put in a solid down the road effort but was nailed on the wire.

YOU SHOULD BE HERE (NW2FM) Aleft, tucked, came uncovered, rallied gamely and kept coming to nail the tiring speed but was nipped by the late rally from the moon by the winner.

SHES LIGHTS OUT (NW10500FM) left for a seat, sat in, got shuffled, tipped out mid lane and finished with a flourish but a little late.

Saturday, October 21

EAST END (NW6000) set the fast pace under constant hounding and tired but held well for second best to the tripped-out winner.

MAKASI (NW4) left well, took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, rallied with good pace but had too far to come.

P L JILL (NW13000) well-bet favorite took an early tuck, pulled to the third panel, challenged, drew off late to be a handy winner.

BURNING SHORE (NW9000) was hopelessly buried to the lane, rallied inside, tipped clear of some traffic in the last steps to get up for third and earns a long look in next.

BEACH BOOGIE (NW14000) tucked early, pulled uncovered passing the half, brushed and proved an impressive winner at 11-1.

Monday, October 23

OFORPETESAKE (CLM20000) left, took back at the quarter, tucked, got shuffled and had traffic in the lane. Angled out late with good finish.

CHARMBRO BLITZ (CLM15000) was showing life on the rail closing up open space, ran into traffic and broke while taking up.

SPIDER MAN HANOVER (NW2500) was in the flow going around dead stuff, took the inside route but had to angle out to get a better lane, freed late with willing pace.

POWERFUL GLARE (NW4000) tucked twice, inherited the lead when the leader brok heading home, tired but held to the last steps.

LISVINNIE (CLMHCP15/20000) finished fast from way back but it was too much to ask. Twice beaten favorite get one more chance to atone.
