Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Nov. 2 - Nov. 7

Ken Walters|Nov 09, 2015

Monday, November 2

JULERICA (CLMHCP20/30000/3YO) charged home from the back of the pack with no real chance and was second. Beaten favorite needs to get moving a lot earlier to get it done.

LADY PING (OntS) finished full of trot to win going way and can take another with same kind of finish.

SURGE SEELSTER (NW1/2-3YO) yielded twice, had much traffic in the lane and found a route much too late to launch a third bid.

SAVANNAH SPLENDOR (NW3000) sat pocket heading home looking for room but found a route too late. Better racing luck might be all it takes.

Thursday, November 5

NEEDLECREST (CLM20000) put in solid uncovered effort in last but tired in the lane.

DEMAND AN ANSWER (NW2) was shuffled after an early yield and parked to command, set a good clip and tired.

WHISTYS PARADISE (CLMHCP8/12000FM) you gotta take note of a winning move like she displayed in last as she tore though the land gobbling up foes one and two at a time.

DOCTOR ROYAL (NW1/2-3YO) wired the field in good time in last and can take another.

Friday, November 6

LITTLE MISS SPORTY (NW2FM) closed well on night of speed to be second best to the odds-on favorite and looms as strong possibility in next.

SOUTHWIND GEISHA (NW3FM) raced uncovered, challenged the pacesetting favorite and tired. A little cover or making the front end should help her cause.

CAMPS BAY (NW2FM) rushed up quickly uncovered to the third panel, loomed dangerous heading home in solid second best effort.

BROADWAY PRINCE (NW4300) closed stoutly from far back in most recent and can get it done with right trip.

Saturday, November 7

HIS BOY ELROY (NW14000) rallied well but late between horses in last to earn second best honors to wrapped up winner.

ELLIS PARK (PRFHCP) left and tucked, pulled uncovered, challenged a long way and tired. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip.

OUR MOJO (NW7500) tucked, sat in, cleared late between horses.

MILEYS BIG WORLD (NW14000FM) made a really big brush coming to the half, gained the lead and that was that. Same move at any time can put her in line for another score.

HOPE FOR PADDY (NW14000FM) beaten favorite was pacing well the last quarter but had far to come.

MONTE CRISTO (NW7500) was blindswitched in the final turn and stuck in traffic through the lane. Cleared too late to launch a legit bid.
