Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Nov. 17 - Nov. 21

Ken Walters|Nov 23, 2016

Thursday, November 17

TWO SIDES OF LOVE (NW1/2-3YOF) closed well at nearly 20-1 and 2YO earned some respect in next.

SCOTTY MACH N (CLM8000) was pacing well through the lane but had much too far to come.

MAXIMUSCLE (NW4000) had trot in the stretch but was forced to take up when a tight racing lane closed.

KINETIC KING (NW8000) was closing well and locked up 2nd place with big finish but made a speed break on the wire.

Friday, November 18

WILDCAT BEAUTY (NW3000FM) put in a game down the road effort holding stubbornly to the end but was second best in the photo.

BAROCKEY (NW6000FM) left to the top, yielded, got shuffled, closed strong but just missed in quick variant-busting mile.

BRING ME DIAMONDS (CLMHCP15/20000/3YOF) left, took the lead, yielded, sat pocket and rallied gamely all out but was nipped on the wire.

POP GOES THEWEASEL (NW15000FM) yielded and was shuffled, sat in traffic, cleared to late to show her best.

Saturday, November 19

TRACEUR HANOVER (NW29500) was an impressive wire to wire winner in last and can take another.

RENEGADE MAGIC (NW6) had far to come but finished willingly in most recent.

PRESCOTTS HOPE (NW9000) was much the best in front-stepping score last time and looked to have plenty left.

MISS BABE DELIGHT (NW4FM) got in tight in the lane but finished well once clear.

Monday, November 21

WATT A FUNNY FACE (CLMHCP10/12000FM) wired the field impressively rebuffing the uncovered challenge of the favorite.

COBALT MAN (CLMHCP10/12000) came wide, rallied strong and proved second best to the favorite.

SHOOT THE TRILL (CLMHCP12/15000) tucked early, pullled uncovered, challenged and tired. Beaten favorite should not be discounted in next.

SHARKY SHARK (NW2) was parked to the lead, set a good clip and dug in gamely to the end but the late closing odds-on favorite nailed the win on the wire.
