Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from March 21 - March 24

Ken Walters|Mar 26, 2014

Friday, March 21

DUKE DID IT (CLM8000) Took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, got buried to the lane, slipped out, ducked in, rallied well.

DREAMFAIR BOGART (NW3) Finished with a full head of steam from an impossible spot.

A FILLY AFFAIR (NW1FM3-4YO) Was locked on the rail and raging to get out but bothered a horse trying to slip out. Freed too late to give her best effort.

LIGHTS GO OUT (NW2FM) Rallied strong and game to catch the tiring leader on the wire and seems capable of a repeat.

Saturday, March 22

CALL IT COURAGE (NW3FM) Certainly lived up to her name in last putting in a courageous parked-the-mile effort to be a game second at 60-1.

TRUE REFLECTION (NW3FM) Sat pocket locked in to the last steps and never had a chance to show her best stuff.

ELMO ROCKBOTTOM (NW3500) Hit overdrive as he came out his moon orbit heading home and gobbled up foes in rapid style to be an impressive second.

CASIMIR JITTERBUG (NW8100) Was a most impressive odds-on winner in last coming up uncovered and powering by with speed to spare.

TWIN B IMPRESSIVE (NW4000) Put in a game, hard pressed second in last. Beaten favorite should atone in next race or two.

Monday, March 24

NOBLE FLIGHT (NW2) Closed a ton from third over and had more than enough left to indicate he can do it again.

STRONG HOPE (NW6000) Hit overdrive heading home and surprised the field at 25-1 in last. Can beat better in next.

TWIN B LEGEND (NW2000) Left from the 10-post, rushed out, tucked, found room between horses in the lane and gamed out second to the odds-on favorite.

MEGO MOSS (NW4) Closed well from 4th over but had too far to come in most recent outing.
