Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Mar. 3 - Mar. 7

Ken Walters|Mar 09, 2016

Thursday, March 3

DOMITIAN HALL (CLM15000) brushed and crushed and looms as probable repeat winner.

WHATASHOWINONTARIO (NW2) sat pocket and never cleared. Do not ignore.

FLAHERTY (NW1) went down the road an easy winner and can take another.

KADDY (NW2) finished well from an impossible spot and has to be considered a threat on best.

YOURE MY HERO (CLM10000) jogged to victory on the front end and should beat better.

Friday, March 4

IRISH SCOTCH (NW3) finished strong from way back in last at 25-1.

DORABELLA (NW1FM) tucked early, got shuffled, pulled uncovered and was second best to the odds on pacesetting favorite.

A PLUS (NW11000FM) brushed and crushed and looked like she had plenty left.

SHELLYSSILVERMOON (NW3000FM) beaten favorite launched a long uncovered challenge to a stubborn pacesetter and was nailed by the tripped out winner.

SHADYS M THREE (NW3000FM) finished full of pace from the moon in last and has to be respected in next.

Saturday, March 5

IMKEEPNTHISGUY (CLM25000) got away slowly, trailed to the lane, rallied strong posting a wicked :26 last panel.

POP GOES THEWEASEL (NW2FM) was buried on the rail, searched, found room late and charged home to just miss.

PROVEN DESIRE (NW3) tucked early, got a bad shuffle along the way, rallied through traffic, had a clear lane too late but finished with a flurry.

VELOCITY GIVEN (NW8500) beaten favorite rallied well from third over and just missed.

COOL ROCK (NW3) second favorite was fourth over behind the above and finshed even better.

Monday, March 7

ZEUS LIGHTNING (PRF) was parked a long way challenging the pace and gamed out second to the tripped-out winner.

JAYPORT ON THE EDGE (NW1) took the top, yielded, retook and never looked back proving to be a handy winner.

EASY LOVER HANOVER (NW2) took an early tuck, pulled to the half, rushed strongly to the lead, opened up and was much the best.

CHARLIE IS A JOKER (NW12000) rushed to the top, went down the road and held on own.

HLDONTGHTTOYURDRMS (NW18000) set a good clip and proved second best.
