Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Mar. 23 - Mar. 27

Ken Walters|Mar 29, 2017

Thursday, March 23

WESLYNN DANCER (NW1) was parked to a tuck, tipped to the third panel, came wide around poor cover and finished well but the beaten favorite was edged by the pocket sitter.

IDEAL VISION (CLM10000) left to short-lived lead, yielded and was shuffled, got backed up behind tiring pockekt horse to the late stages. He finished gamely to earn third but the top two had gotten away.

QUEEN IDEAL (NW2FM) tucked early, pulled to the half, brushed to the lead and proved best by a comfortable margin.

ROSELILY (NW1FM) won for fun on the front end and should take another.

Friday, March 24

ART ANGEL BABY (NW3FM) left like a shot, set a good clip, opened up by five but tired.

TRUE REFLECTION (NW6000FM) was parked the mile, gained cover, rallied gamely but tired just enough to get nailed.

TIMMYLYNN (NW6000FM) yielded, retook and proved much the best.

RUBIS PRESCOTT (NW11500FM) rallied second over and proved to be a game winner.

Saturday, March 25

MOHAWK WARRIOR (NW14000) finished full of pace from a far away place and just missed.

REDONKULOUS (NW3) was buried to the lane, had clearance too late but earns a long look in next.

COUNTER STRIKE (NW4000) took a tour of the track sitting on the rail, had traffic in the lane but closed steadily and willingly.

TWIN B FAMOUS (NW6000) took the lead past the quarter, yielded, sat pocket with too much traffic to get his best shot.

Monday, March 27

FOUR CARD MAJOR (CLM15000) left well, tucked, pulled to the half, challenged to the lane but was second best to the pacesetting odds-on favorite.

ROCKIN THE HOUSE (CLMHCP20/25000) finished full of pace from the back of the pack.

NOW WHAT HANOVER (NW1) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the half, challenged, wore down the speed but was nipped by the tripped-out pocket horse.

EAST END (CLM20000) wired the field winning for fun and will be hard to tough to get by in next.
