Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Jan. 25 - Jan . 29

Ken Walters|Jan 31, 2018

Thursday, January 25

UNDRAFTED (NW3) finished best of all from a distant 4th over and earns a look in next.

LARRYS PETROCK (NW1) was fast of foot through the lane and won going away impressively.

ROSESAREEXPLOSIVE (NW3) wired the field in last and can take another.

MUSCLE LASS (NW1) trotter tucked, pulled to the half, lost cover, challenged but was nailed by the fast-closing favorite. Showed enough at 56/1 to earn a look in next couple of races.

Friday, January 26

BERNADETTE (NW3000FM) beaten favorite put in solid down the road effort in last and dug in gamely holding off all except the pocket sitting winner. Can atone in quick order.

KEN KAN WIN (NW3000) tucked to the quarter, was in between horse in the lane with willing rally but had to take up when jammed up late in the stretch.

GIRL DRAMA (CLMHCP12/15000) was far back to the third panel, followed the winner wide and closed well to earn a long look in next race or two.

BAD AT REDHOT (CLMHCP8/10000FM) rallied gamely at 73/1 in last outing to finish second.

Saturday, January 27

RUBIS PRESCOTT (NW15000F) tucked twice along the way, rallied dead game in third move through the lane and as always three-move winners have to be respected.

DEX THE LAND (CLMHCP15/20000FM) rushed to the top, yielded for the pocket, rallied gamely at nearly 11/1 but was second best.

MODERN REFLECTION (NW15500) angled out through the lane finished full of pace from an impossible spot.

MUSCLES FOR LIFE (NW6000) left, tucked, brushed as the speed settled, got away and was a handy winner looking like he could take another.

PISTON BROKE (NW15500) was far back and never a thought but powered home to get up for second and should nail a win soon.

Monday, January 29

FRENCH BASTILLE (NW3) suffered broken equipment in last and got away poorly, saved with willing finish and earns a look in next.

REAL WORLD GOAL (NW2) sat the rail and closed gamely in tight quarters but was taken down for going inside pylons.

JENKINS CREEK (CLMHCP8/10000) went down the road and was a handy winning favorite over a tiring track.

CHARLIE IS A JOKER (NW18500) took the lead, yielded, retook and proved a game second best to the even money favorite.
