THE REV (NW7500) beaten favorite was in the pocket, ready to roll but cleared too late.

REGALLY READY (NW10000FM) finished late and seemed like she could get more next time.

TYLERS BEACH BOY (NW2) closed with the quickest last quarter on the evening and earns a look in next.

CALL IT COURAGE (NW3000FM) showed courage in last with long, parked the mile uncovered effort and held gamely in the lane.

CROCADILE CANYON (NW13000) was all out and rallying in the lane. Can be interesting facing slightly lesser foes.

Monday, January 4

TWIN B WRANGLER (NW3000) rushed to the top from post 10, set the pace under pressure from the parked favorite, dug in gamely but was nailed on the wire by a late closing fresher foe.

JAC SPADE (CLM8000) rallied strong between horses but just missed.

BEACH HERO (CLMHCP15/20000) beaten favorite took the lead, yielded and was shuffled. Finished with good pace but had a bit of traffic to clear before hitting his best stride.

GUILTYWITHANEXCUSE (CLM12000) left to the top from post 10 at 8-1, set a good clip and tired. Should be tighter in next and get it done.

HOME JAMES (NW1) brushed and crushed and looms as probable repeat winner.
