Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Jan. 19 - Jan. 24

Ken Walters|Jan 26, 2015

Monday, January 19

BLISSFULL YEARS (NW3000) sat buried on the rail to the lane, slid out, angled wide, hit a good stride and closed well but too late.

CHARMED LIFE (PRFHCP) roared home to win going away and should take another.

E W FISHER (CLMHCP12/15000) favorite rushed to the lead past the half and buried foes in quick order.

JUST CALL ME LADY (CLM 15000) finished strong to win going away and is another winning favorite that should be able to take another.

HARBOR PLACE (NW2) set the early pace, yielded to the favored winner and was second best on the track and on the board.

Thursday, January 22

WILDCAT MAGIC (3-4YOFM) wired the field leaving much in the tank. Mare has her moments and you can expect a few more.

WARRAWEE PROTON (NW2) finished full of trot form third over in last to be second best at 20-1.

TYLMAL SIGNATURE (NW1) was all over the track in last finished well to be second best.

ARTISTIC MADISON (NW3FM) closed strongly to win going away from third over and should be able to earn a few more wins.

Friday, January 23

GIVENUPDREAMING (NW2) closed stoutly but ran out of track in last adventure.

SEVERUS HANOVER (NW3) had some "severus" traffic to clear in the lane and never had a chance to show best stuff.

TOTAL LEE (NW3FM) was parked the mile, battled the mile and tired. Beaten favorite needs only modest racing luck to atone.

DAZZLE N DELIGHT (NW3FM) was hounded the entire mile and dug in gamely while tiring. A little mercy may be all it takes.

BAD BUG (SNOWSHOE) was guided quickly and expertly through traffic in the final but just missed.

PUTMEINTOGO (PRF FM) rushed to the top, yielded under a hold, got shuffled, lost her momentum in the final turn, hit stride late rallying between horses but it was too late.

Saturday, January 24

JOSHUA MY BOY (NW12500) left, tucked, tipped in the final turn, rallied all out and gamely to be second best to well bet winner.

WILD AND CRAZY GUY (NW8000) had far to come but finished strongest of all to earn look in next.

MMS LUCKY BOY (NW8000) was parked early, tucked, sat in, had good rally between horses to the wire.
