SAVANNAH SMILES (NW1FM) beaten favorite was at the back of the pack, got steppy, settled and rallied strongly to just miss.

THE BIG BEAST (CLMHCP8/10000) set the pace under pressure from the half and held gamely but tired.

PROLOGUE (NW1) was parked the mile, grinded uncovered, rallied gamely to the end and earns a long look in next race or two.

BURLINGTON (NW3) rolled along loose on the lead and tired getting nailed in the last step or two.

Friday, January 20

SHAGNWITHTHEDRAGON (SNOWSHOE) finished full of pace from the back of the pack in last.

GERARDO (SNOWSHOE) was a game second in his division of 1st round action in the Snowshoe.

CHESTNUT SCHOFIELD (NW3000) was loose on the lead and looking good at the third panel at 17-1 but tired.

ARTISTIC MADISON (NW15000FM) made a long wide rally and finished gamely.

E R RHONDA (CLMHCP8/10000FM) held gamely to the wire in front-stepping effort but was taken down for interference.

Saturday, January 20

DONTBRUISECARRIER (NW3000FM) was parked, found a tuck, found room amid traffic through the lane and finished strong and game.

NATURAL KEMP (CLMHCP20/25000) grinded up gamely and just missed. Should be along in time with slightly better trip.

REGAL SON (NW20000) tucked to the quarter, pulled uncovered, rallied gamely between horses through the stretch.

ABSOLUT SEELSTER (NW6000) went down the road over a tiring track and held well but was nailed by the late closing second-over favorite.

PHYSICALLYINCLINED (PRF) was parked to the lead, led to the lane at 24-1 and weakened. Comes from smart barn and will find the winners circle.
