Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from February 7 to 10

Ken Walters|Feb 12, 2014

Friday, February 7

MUSCLE ON BROADWAY (NW2) Got away slowly and was behind gappers to the half, pulled to the third panel, rallied strongly to reach contention but tired and flattened late.

JUSTALITTLEFASTER (CLM12/15000) Had to follow wide to the third panel and was stuck out there a long way; hit his best stride too late to menace.

MIA SEELSTER (NW10000FM) Put in another good performance from a bad spot and is always eligible to hit the winner's circle.

LYONSSWEETIE (NW10000FM) Found herself in a bad spot heading home, bulled out, found room and closed strongly but was taken down for interference.

SHOW TOPPER (CLM8000) Was three-wide twice in the mile and put in game enough effort to keep an eye on.

WARRAWEE LIMELIGHT (NW7000FM) Got caught in the pocket and cleared too late to get it done.

Saturday, February 8

COUGAR HALL (NW3) Brushed and crushed in last totally wrapped up and should take another.

STRIKING LINDSEY (NW3500) Closed well between horses in last and earns some respect next outing.

OOL ROCK (NW10000) Finished full of pace from far back and just missed in most recent effort.

FLIGHT OF THE KIWI (NW3) Was used to the lead, met pressure, dug in gamely on a night that was not kind to pacesetters and can get it done with a bit of racing luck.

Monday, February 10

WATKINS (NW28000) Put in a game hard-pressed front-stepping effort in last and was only run down by the favorite.

DADDY WARBUCKS (NW5000) Was absolutely raging while on the rail to the lane, tipped, found a route between horses and closed fast to indicate he can take another.

O U GUS (NW6000) Put in an impressive parked-the-mile effort in last and challenged to the lane before tiring. A better trip should get him home.

CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR (NW2) Rallied gamely after pulling the pocket and was outfinished by the odds-on favorite.

IDEAL SHADOW (NW1) Was absolutely wrapped up in last, winning easily with plenty left for next week.
