WAR N MUNN (COUNT B) wired the field in first leg romp and will be hard to catch.

THREE TRUTHS (COUNT B) closed strong and nailed the speed in his division of first round action and will have to be respected.

NEVERSAIDIWASSWEET (CLMHCP8/12000) put up good numbers in front-stepping effort but was second best to the odds-on winner.

DAZZLE N DELIGHT (NW6000FM) finished with a rush from the back of the pack but had too far to come.

WAASMULA (NW15000FM) brushed and crushed in last and looms as likely repeat winner.

Saturday, February 6

GRIN FOR MONEY (NW13000) sat pocket with no room. Do not ignore in next.

HALF A BILLION (ONTARIOBOYS) left at 48-1, tucked, pulled, rallied strong, rushed up and challenged but tired.

BAGS FOR ALL (NW6500) set the pace and drew off as much the best.

BETTER ART (CLM25000) went down the road and got away from all but the tripped-out pocket horse.

Monday, February 8

RETAIL (CLM8000) put in a solid down road effort in last meeting pressure from the half, shook off the challenger but could not stall the tripped-out pocket-sitters late rally.

HILLSONATOR and MUSICAL RHYTHM (GENBROCK) both looked impressive in odds-on romps in first leg action.

FEARLESS MAN (PRFHCP) was on the lead throughout and was trotting well through the stretch but the second over rally of the fresher winner nailed the speedy beaten favorite on the wire.

WOGGY ROCKS (CLMHCP15/20000) was a three move winner and that is always worth noting.
