Woodbine Harness: Horses to watch from Dec. 15 - Dec. 19

Ken Walters|Dec 22, 2016

Thursday, December 15

MR MATCH ON BEACH (NW2) was pressed early, put the challenger in the pocket, kept going, dug in while tiring as the favorite challenged through the lane.

SHARKY SHARK (NW2) beaten favorite challenged uncovered the final quarter, had aim but was nailed on the wire.

NEWBIE (NW2500) took the top, yielded, retook, set a pressed pace, put away the challenger with game hold but was nailed by the second-over closer.

CLOUSEAU HANOVER (NW1) two-year-old put in a solid down-the-road effort in last and was second best to well-bet favorite.

Friday, December 16

ADVERSITY (NW4000) tucked early, got shuffled, pulled in the final turn and closed well but had far to come.

FRANSCHOEK (NW1/2-3YOF) was far back into the lane, unleashed a strong late rally and the beaten favorite should atone.

DAZZLING ROCKETTE (NW15000FM) charged home powerfully but ran out or track in last.

FIVE BELOW (NW4000) wired the field easily in last and will be hard to beat in next.

MISS BABE DELIGHT (NW4FM) had traffic, cleared late and closed well.

Saturday, December 17

LIGHTS GO OUT (NW3000FM) was a 'lights out' front-stepping winner in last and looked to have plenty left.

AMERICAN VIRGIN (PRF) saved, angled out around traffic and closed with a rush in most recent.

THREE DREAMS (NW3000FM) was on the rail in traffic, cleared late and was more than willing.

CARRACCI HANOVER (NW14000) put in a good down the road effort under pressure and was second best to the tripped-out pocket-sitting favorite.

Monday, Decemeber 19

NOBETTORPLACETOBE (CLMHCP10/12000) won in a romp in front-stepping effort at over 30-1 and will be tough to catch with any effort similar.

BIG JOHN HOUN (NW3) tucked, brushed to the top with confidence but gave way to the late rush of the pocket sitter. Beaten favorite gets another look in next.

YORK SEELSTER (CLMHCP20/25000) won in down the road effort, was claimed by Allard Racing and success should continue.

LISVINNIE (CLMHCP20/25000) was up the track to the top one in last but was also claimed by Allard Racing. Pacer has his moments and stable will get him a win soon.
