AMBLE OVER HANOVER (CLMHCP8/10000) left to the top at nearly 12-1, set the pace on his own to the third quarter, proved unable to handle the winner's strong bid but was second best.
MAN OF DESTINY (NW3) closed gamely rallying off poor cover and should go better in next.
PAULY WALLY (NW1) was parked to the lead, faced third panel pressure, shrugged and drew off impressively.
GIA DIAMOND (CLMHCP8/10000FM) left for position, sat into the third call, came uncovered and challenged, had aim but tired. Can suprise if a bit tighter.
Friday, April 7
DOVUTO HANOVER (CLMHCP12/18000) closed late and willingly from third over and can score a win soon.
DAMFOOLRMILLIONAIR (NW4000) closed strong from third over and nailed the speed in the last steps. Can take another with right trip.
MATTJESTIC TEMPO (NW6000FM) wired the field with strong front-stepping effort and is eligible to repeat.
CALL ME MAYBE (NW3800FM) finished full of pace form a bad spot and will be along in time in due time.
Saturday, April 8
DINNER AT THE MET (NW9200) rallied strong in the final turn and closed gamely but had much too far to come. Beaten favorite should not be discounted in next.
FIRST CAR (NW3) was parked to the lead, dug in gamely and was the only wire to wire winner on the evening.
MACHAL JORDAN (NW24000) veteran went to the lead, set the pace under intense pressure from the favorite and dug in gamely while tiring. Should have better luck over a more speed favoring track.
HALF A BILLION (NW14000) was buried on the rail, found room heading home and rushed fast up the inside but ran out of track.
Monday, April 10
SHOCK N ROCK (NW2800) was buried in the final turn, tipped heading home, wove through traffic and finished strongest but too late.
THINK ON IT (NW2800) set the clip on an open lead to the lane, tired late over a tiring track and earns another look.
FOUR CARD MAJOR (CLM20000) left,tucked,gained cover in the final turn, closed gamely but was outkicked.
SIERRA MADRE (CLM20000) sat in, had too much stretch traffic to launch his bid but seemed willing.
