Race 1
(3) ISLAY N was visibly finishing well against much better at Yonkers in her last start and she beat non-winners of four the start before. She is obviously best here, the only variable being the 25 days off. (5) ART ANGEL BABY blew a big lead last week but she was flying late in her race two starts back. Maybe she is better coming from off the pace. (6) QUEEN IDEAL comes off a sharp win vs. easier and she isn't out of this, but if the choice is on her game, they are likely all racing for 2nd. (4) DANCING SHADOWS K keeps flashing good late speed. She should share here.
Race 2
(2) WILD AND CRAZY GUY drops again after setting solid splits vs. better. He should be tough in here. (5) LMC MASS OAK blew up on the first turn last week when heavily-bet dropping into this class. I'll give him another chance and toss him in the Pick 4. (7) WINZEL closed well to nab 2nd in this class last week. The sure-gaited veteran can share here, too. (4) MUSCLES ALL OVER drops and could better this placing.
Race 3
(7) DRIVINGTHEDRAGON N drops, gets a better post and retains driver Roy. That should all add up to a short-priced victory. (2) NIPS BEACH GIRL gets McNair back and moves inside. She should be closer early here which gives her a decent shot here. (4) DAZZLING ROCKETTE takes a big drop here; consider for Pick 4 and Pick 5 tickets. (9) LIGHTS GO OUT goes in and out of form several times per year. It looks like she is coming back to form now. She can make the ticket.
Race 4
(3) ROSELILY picked up a catch-driver last week and she absolutely jogged. She gets a further driver upgrade here and it's hard to imagine her losing. (1) MIA OH MY has excellent late speed on her best day and she could be passing most of these to complete the exacta. (2) AMERICAN SARA is in great form, but she would have to find several seconds here to compete with the choice it appears. (5) WINDSONGMAGNIFIQUE is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.
Race 5
(6) SHOW SOME LEG has been getting closer for Hensley and she is never bet. She will pop one of these weeks at a price; maybe tonight? (3) TOPVILLE CHEETAH was used hard early last week and she didn't fade badly; using. (8) MISS COCO LUCK drops and will get bet heavily probably, but is a multi-race must-use for me. (1) KATIES BEACH remains a win-shy type, but she can take a slice racing against these.
Race 6
(6) LYONS RIVER PRIDE got hammered at the windows last week but she got moving too late. She should be more aggressive early here; top call. (7) TIMMYLYNN improved sharply in her first start for Allard and she can set some solid splits and keep going; using. (9) VOODOO CHARM is always passing horses and she will get there one of these weeks at a price. (8) RUBIS PRESCOTT steps up slightly off a win but her consistency should be respected. She could better this prediction.
Race 7
(8) CUE HALL briefly looked like a winner in the lane last week, but he was passed by a rival that rode perfect cover. He is sharp and should contend again here. (5) JUSTICE JET was the one that provided the aforementioned cover in that race. He can win this with a slightly better trip. (7) BELLA PALAZZO stayed in last time and finished on the edges. If she can latch onto a live helmet like she did two starts back, she could surprise here. (2) STORMONT WIZARD isn't the best win bet, but he can pass many of these and take a share.
Race 8
(5) NAUGHTY LADY B exits a quick race vs. better in which she was hard-used early and still hung on for a check. She looks best here. (4) WASAGA BEACH flew late to win last time and although these are tougher, she can contend with the good late speed she has been producing. (1) CAYO LOCO outlasted a rival that held a big lead on her turning home last week. She is in terrific form and is an exacta factor again here. (3) MARVALOUS JET was out too long last week. She can share off an expected better trip here.
Race 9
(2) P L JERICO has seen better days, but he drops and is capable vs. these if he can leave with some purpose; slight nod at a price, hopefully. (7) BOBS HOPE can last longer here adding Lasix; using. (5) SWAN FOR DEE looked good until around the 3/4 last week. She can bounce back and hit the ticket here. (6) HETTIES COMMANDER has a couple of miles at Flamboro that would make him competitive here if he duplicated one of them.
Race 10
(7) CALL ME MAYBE motored home last week, but she was too far back to make an impact on the leaders. She can swoop these at a price if she is close enough at the 3/4 pole. (3) ARTISTIC MADISON looked much better last week when trainer Waxman resumed training duties. She is no cinch here and is likely to be overbet, but she should be used in late Pick 4 tickets. (1) CALL IT COURAGE rarely wins but she should get a good following trip here and take a share. (5) BACK YARD BABY can pass some of these and make the ticket at a good price. (10) WILDCAT MAGIC is another that can pass some rivals late to finish on the fringes.
