Race 1
(6) BRING ME DIAMONDS races much better near the front. Perhaps the Z Man will send her in this third start out of his barn; slight nod in one of several contentious dashes on this card, (2) MAPLELEA has hit her best stride and she should be one to fend off here. (8) POP GOES THEWEASEL opted to stay in last week then came on late for 3rd. She is another option in a race likely to be decided by trip. (1) SHOW SOME LEG comes off a sharp win and retains hot driver Hensley; using.
Race 2
(2) REQUEST FOR PAROLE is helped by post relief and the short field here. She should be tough for a hot barn. (3) P L HURRICANE will be prominent on or near the lead here; using. (5) SAYITALL BB had little to offer last week, but she has a better shot here with the winner of that race gone. (6) ARTISTIC MADISON is another that could wake up here in a slightly easier spot.
Race 3
(6) DARK ROAST was getting close at the wire last week. It makes sense to think Roy will ask her for more speed earlier this time. (4) TOTALLY RIPPED shouldn't get hung the mile starting closer to the inside this time and he can beat these with a good trip. (2) POWER MOVE showed a bit of life late in his mile last week. He's beaten better than these in the past. (1) AMITYVILLE LINDY can contend here if he can beat a few of these off the gate, but that's hard to predict.
Race 4
(10) PRETTY HOT plunges in class here and is likely to attract a claim. Expect an aggressive steer. (3) PASSION QUIZRACE had lots of pace in the lane last time at London, but she lacked room and couldn't capitalize. She fits here. (8) OLIVIAS WAY has been hot racing in cheaper classes out of town. She's worth considering at what should be a square price. (5) TOTAL KNOCKOUT races best in this class. She can take a share here.
Race 5
(4) KAYS SHADOW has never been better and she has developed a lethal third 1/4 move. I'll stick with her here despite the class jump. (5) WANDA BAYAMA is the one to fend off dropping slightly in class here. (1) DAZZLING ROCKETTE is sharp and need only leave in the top six to have a decent chance here. (2) GREYSTONE LADYLIKE should show early speed here. She isn't out of this if she can get a breather.
Race 6
(6) STORMONT WIZARD qualified decently with trotting hopples on and he uses that equipment here. While he hasn't won in forever, he's worth a stab here if he is a decent price. (5) JUSTICE JET was no good on the front last week. He will likely revert to closing tactics which should work better for him. (10) DEWEYKEEPUMNWHY figures on paper but post and his frequent gait issues are obstacles he must overcome. (9) BAGS FOR ALL has the “first-time McNair” angle going for her here. I'll toss her on my Pick 4 tickets.
Race 7
(1) TEMPUS SEELSTER was thwarted by a dawdling pace last time but still closed for 2nd. She is capable of pressing the pace and isn't likely to be beaten that way again here. (2) LIGHTS GO OUT couldn't reach a sharp leader last week but she fits here and should be a strong contender. (5) A PLUS got a great drive and easy trip up front to win last week. She is a factor, obviously, but she could be overbet here. (8) VOODOO CHARM figures to close late for a small piece of this purse.
Race 8
(3) EXHILARATED has faced far better at Yonkers. She should make short work of this field. (2) PHOENICIAN GAL can take a big share here if she can avoid going first-over. (7) NINETTE B drops back down to a class where she can hit the ticket. (6) LADY JEN also drops and can wake up with a better effort.
Race 9
(6) QUEENOFTHEJUNGLE gets away from the white-hot Kays Shadow here. These should be much easier; top call. (7) UP FRONT ELIZABETH may have been speed-tightened last week and she could take these much farther on the lead. (5) BETTYS BAY can be a factor racing near the lead here and can win this if she trips out. (8) BACK YARD BABY should close for a slice in this suspect field.
Race 10
(10) REGALLY READY drops off a good effort and she should handle these if she can work out a reasonable trip. (8) MARQUISE DE SARAH had a very long trip last week and she paid the price late. A better journey could get her a win here. (4) WILDCAT MAGIC figures at this level; using. (3) DONTBRUISECARRIE showed a bit of interest late last week. She could contend at a price here in her second start back from a break. (9) TRUE REFLECTION can finish on the fringes with the class drop here.
