Race 1
(4) MACH THE CUT took a new life's mark last time when he was put into the race early. She can repeat here starting from a good post. (6) ROCKN OPIUM made two moves in a good effort last time and she is the main danger. (7) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE has surprised off mediocre lines twice already this year on this circuit; consider at a price. (1) NO PANIC is in good form but she has missed some time; small share predicted for her.
Race 2
(2) FOR THE RECORD is improving rapidly and she could take this at a decent price starting from the inside. (4) LOVE KILLS blew up the tote in the Grassroots final and she is in with a big shot here, but the price drops, obviously. (1) MACHNHOPE faces much easier, but she is no lock here and she could be overbet. (3) INTREPID LADY steps up off a sharp win and she is another that can win this contentious affair with the right trip.
Race 3
(9) LIBERTARIAN takes a big drop here and he should be put into play early; top call. (8) ST JAMES GATE has done well this track and he could get a good pace setup here; using. (3) HOLIDAY PARTY is another closer that could get a strong pace to close into. Toss him on Pick 4 tickets. (5) WILL TAKE CHARGE fits here, but he could encounter others wanting the front early; smaller share is likely.
Race 4
(6) ARTISTIC MADISON loves Woodbine and she was an unlucky loser last time. She doesn't need the lead to win either. I'll take a stand here and single her in the Pick 5 and early Pick 4. (2) RIDE AWAY SHARK got a great trip last time to nail the choice last time. She looks like the main threat. (1) SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR was flying late last time. She should pick up some pieces here, too. (7) THEWAYULOOKTONIGHT will be an early threat and she could better this placing if she gets a breather.
Race 5
(7) CHICKIE LOVE and (8) YOU SHOULD BE HERE both get notable barn switches here and I'll use both in the Pick 4 and Pick 5 with the former getting the nod based on post and driver. (5) TRAFFIC JAM is in very sharp form and she is worth including here. (2) MELANIES FILLY steps up off a sharp win, but these are tougher. She can take a slice here.
Race 6
(6) CHESTNUT SCHOFIELD was so good in his 2nd start out of the Hensley barn that I'll stick with him here. (4) AWOL HANOVER looks like the class of the field and the one to beat. (8) ABSOLUT SEELSTER made several moves in a very good effort last time. Don't sell him short here. (5) FONDUE is sharp and she can close late to make the ticket.
Race 7
(8) MATTJESTIC TEMPO does her best work at Woodbine and she is sure to get an aggressive steer from Roy here; top call. (2) BAROCKEY starts out of the Budd barn for the first time here and sharp improvement would not be surprising. (1) JUSTABIT MEAN should work out a decent following trip here and close late for a slice. (3) CAYO LOCO is another closer that figures to pass some of these late and take a share.
Race 8
(2) BERNADETTE took her season's mark at this track earlier this year when she was winning regularly here. I'll give her a slight nod over (4) JEWELONTHEBEACH N, who is in top form as she goes for three straight. (3) KAYS SHADOW should show sharp improvement moving in several posts here. (8) BAD NIGHT MARE is worth a look for the exotics on the class drop.
Race 9
(1) DANCING SHADOWS K faces much easier here and sharp improvement can be expected. (3) V STRING ships in with sharp form and she should be heard from here. (5) MISTY DE VIE is one of only two four-year-olds in here facing sophomores and she should be heard from late in the mile. (4) GOTTALOVEMYSHADOW should be an early presence, but there is some speed to her outside.
Race 10
(5) VOODOO CHARM continues to show improving form and she should get lots of early speed to chase here. (8) KIWI FOCUS N drops and she will no doubt be blasted off the gate by Hudon. She's the one to catch. (3) WHISTYS PARADISE was overbet last time, but she figures here and wouldn't be a big shock. (4) KISS ME OR NOT fits well in this class and she should take a share. (6) STONEBRIDGE FOCUS is a win machine but this is a big step up. I'll let her try to beat me.
