Woodbine, Fort Erie cancel Sunday

ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Woodbine canceled its entire 11-race card on Sunday due to high winds, which were gusting from the west at up to 50 miles per hour.

The two turf stakes carded on Sunday, the Bunty Lawless and the Labeeb, were both rescheduled for Thursday. Both races will be run on the Polytrack.

Racing is scheduled to resume on Wednesday evening.

Fort Erie canceled the balance of its Sunday program after running three races here Sunday. Racing was scheduled to resume at Fort Erie on Monday and the meeting is scheduled to end on Tuesday.
