Woodbine, Delaware cancel

Woodbine in Etobicoke, Ontario, canceled its 10-race card Saturday, while Delaware Park in Wilmington, Del., canceled after the third race of its nine-race card. Both cancellations were the result of unsafe track conditions caused by inclement weather. Racing was scheduled to resume Sunday at both tracks.

At Woodbine, the track was littered with frozen balls of dirt, which could have injured horses and riders. Saturday's feature there, the $135,625 Display Stakes for 2-year-olds, has been rescheduled for this Wednesday.
