Also Saturday, Exclamation Point worked a half-mile by himself in 48.60 seconds. Co-owner Staton Flurry said the connections are leaning toward running him in the $150,000 Fifth Season, a 1 1/16-mile race on April 14. It would mark the stakes debut for Exclamation Point, who also is nominated to the Oaklawn Handicap.
A 4-year-old half-brother to champion Classic Empire, Exclamation Point is coming off a sharp allowance win at Fair Grounds.
