Mary Rampellini|Aug 15, 2006

James A. Winn, who with his wife, Juanita, bred and raced Grade 1 winner Proper Reality, died Saturday. He was 80.

In addition to his wife, Winn is survived by a son, Allen Winn, and a daughter, Dr. Sandra Burchett. A funeral was held Tuesday in Hot Springs.
