Win N Your In backed up an impressive maiden win with a stakes victory Saturday at Gulfstream Park in the $95,000 Sharp Susan. The race was one of two stakes for 2-year-olds on the card. Naughty Rascal ($18) won a stretch battle over 6-5 favorite Classic of Course to take the $95,000 Proud Man. Win N Your In ($3) was a 7 1/2-length maiden special weight winner in her second career start last out, earning a strong Beyer Speed Figure of 79. She was prominent on Saturday, tracking Wiggle An’ Wine through an opening quarter in 22.29 seconds, before moving to the lead through a half-mile in 45.75. Win N Your In went on to cover six furlongs on a fast track in 1:11.30. Miguel Vasquez was aboard for trainer Carlos David. Win N Your In won by 4 3/4 lengths over Wiggle An’ Wine, while it was another two lengths back in third to Bee a Queen. The Sharp Susan was for 2-year-old fillies. :: Bet with the Best! She races for Troy Johnson and Maritza Weston. Naughty Rascal improved his record to 2 for 2 when he fended off Classic of Course by a neck in the Proud Man. It was another 3 1/2 lengths back in third to Joey Muscles. Naughty Rascal raced in fifth off an opening quarter in 21.97 seconds, began to advance on the turn with Classic of Course joining him on his outside. Naughty Rascal and Classic of Course continued to race as a team around the turn before the fight was on in the stretch. Naughty Rascal covered six furlongs on a fast track in 1:11.92. Edwin Gonzalez was aboard the winner for trainer Gerald Bennett. Naughty Rascal was a debut winner over fellow Florida-breds on July 21. He is a son of the Into Mischief stallion Rogueish. Naughty Rascal races for Mr Pug LLC and J.P.G. LLC.
