Williamson joins Three Chimneys as director of sales

Grant Williamson, a 25-year veteran of the Thoroughbred industry, has joined Three Chimneys as the Midway, Ky. farm’s director of stallion nominations and sales.

A native of Epsom, England, Williamson has spent the past 17 years working in the U.S., most recently at Adena Springs in Paris, Ky., where he was responsible for stallion season sales. Prior to that, he served as stallion director at Vinery Ltd. and assisted in various capacities including yearling selection, sales recruitment, and racing stable partnerships.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at Three Chimneys at this exciting time in the farm’s history, and I look forward to welcoming breeders to see the entire stallion roster, particularly our two exciting additions Strong Mandate and Will Take Charge,” Williamson said. “They are both fantastic looking horses with top class form and pedigrees, and are ready for viewing.
