Will Rogers Downs near Tulsa, which closed out its Thoroughbred meet in May, announced Wednesday it handled $131 million on its races this season compared to $16.8 million during the corresponding meet in 2019, a staggering increase of almost 700 percent.

The track was one of the few that raced throughout the initial stages of the coronavirus pandemic.
End Zone Athletics was the meet’s leading owner with 13 wins. Robertino Diodoro was the leading trainer with 28 wins, and David Cabrera was the leading rider with 36 wins. The horse of the meet was Welder.
