Wild Bill back in derby trials

Wild Bill Mae, the Remington Park Derby winner, goes for his third win in three starts this year when he runs in the second of three trials to the Grade 1 Heritage Place Derby on Friday night at Remington Park.

Wild Bill Mae won his Remington Park Derby trial and then upset odds-on favorite Redman Running by a neck for his sole stakes win.

On Saturday night, Streakin Dunn and Tours Quick Miracle, the second- and third-place finishers in the Grade 1 Remington Park Futurity, return in the trials to the Grade 1 Heritage Place Futurity.

Streakin Dunn won his maiden in his Remington Park Futurity trial before finishing second in the finals.

Tours Quick Miracle goes for his first win after finishing second in his Remington Park Futurity trial and running third in the finals.

The finals for the Heritage Place Futurity and the Heritage Place Derby will take place May 29, with the ten fastest qualifiers from the respective trials.
