Western Fair: Post positions drawn for Camluck Classic, Forest City Pace
The post position draws are complete for two of the featured events on a highly anticipated Friday night program at The Raceway: the C$150,000 Camluck Classic presented by Seelster Farms and the C$50,000 Forest City Pace.
In the Camluck Classic, Ohio invader Helium N has secured the coveted rail position. The son of Sweet Lou enters the race with impressive credentials, including a 1:46 4/5 track record performance at Scioto Downs, and will be making his first start at The Raceway. Helium N is trained by Christi Noble and will be driven by Dan Noble.
Brue Hanover, who crossed the finish line first in last year's Camluck Classic before being disqualified and placed third, will begin from post position seven. He is trained by Dave Menary and will once again be driven by James MacDonald.
Lou Hill, currently the fastest aged gelding on a half-mile track in North America this season by virtue of a 1:50 victory at Yonkers Raceway, drew post position three. He is trained by Per Engblom and will be handled by reigning United States Driver of the Year Jason Bartlett.
The remainder of the Camluck Classic field in post position order is as follows: Poseidon Seelster (post two), Chase H Hanover (post four), Donegal Luther N (post five), Lous World (post six) and Calicojack Hanover (post eight).

The post position draw for the Forest City Pace for older pacing mares was also conducted during Monday's pre-game show. Blinded By Delight landed the inside post, while top Mohawk Preferred mare Lets N Joy will start from the outside post position in the eight-horse field. Defending champion Caviar N Crackers drew post six.
The remaining starters in the Forest City Pace in post position order include Raptors Won (post two), Perfectly Chic (post three), Grit N Grace (post four), Ladyterra (post five) and Talk Curdy To Me (post eight).
Friday night's stacked program will also feature four $40,000 London Classic Sale Series finals, Ontario Sires Stakes divisions for 3-year-old filly pacers, a Preferred Trot and Preferred Pace, as well as a Fillies and Mares Preferred. Total purses for the evening will exceed C$500,000, the richest night of the racing season.
The complete draw for the card will take place Tuesday morning. First post time on Friday is scheduled for 5:50 p.m. (EDT).
