Well Humored rallies to upset Wayward Lass Stakes

Well Humored rallied up the rail to upset heavily favored Tapa Tapa Tapa when earning her first stakes victory Saturday in the 34th running of the $50,000 Wayward Lass at Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, Fla.
Ridden by Daniel Centeno, Well Humored finished three-quarters of a length ahead of the 2-5 favorite before returning $12.80 as second choice in the 1 1/16-mile race. Tapa Tapa Tapa was another 4 3/4 lengths before Sweet Legacy in a field of eight fillies and mares.
Owned by WinStar Stablemates Racing LLC and trained by Arnaud Delacour, Well Humored is a 4-year-old filly by Distorted Humor. She was coming off a sixth-place finish in the ungraded Winter Memories on the Aqueduct turf.
The $2 exacta (4-2) paid $31.60, the $1 trifecta (4-2-7) returned $157, and the 10-cent superfecta (4-2-7-8) was worth $77.22.
