Weekend work on tap for Ivan Fallunovalot

Dustin Orona Photography Ivan Fallunovalot wins the Remington Park Sprint Cup on Sept. 27.
Breeders’ Cup Sprint candidate Ivan Fallunovalot is scheduled to work over the weekend at his Remington Park base, trainer Tom Howard said. It will be the horse’s first breeze since winning the $151,650 Remington Park Sprint Cup on Sept. 27.
Howard said Ivan Fallunovalot’s final work for the Breeders’ Cup will be around Oct. 25. From there, assuming he gets into the Sprint, he will ship to Keeneland for the Oct. 31 race.
“We’ll try to move over, providing everything goes as planned, a day or two after the work,” Howard said. “We might ship the 26th or the 27th.”
