Wasabi Ventures Stables cashing in at Laurel Park
Coming into the racing week at Laurel Park, Wasabi Ventures Stables has won four consecutive races at the Maryland track.
Wasabi Ventures is a partnership in which investors buy shares in available stable horses. Wasabi Ventures is a co-owner in all of the horses in its program. Wasabi was founded by its managing partner, T.K. Kuegler, in 2017 and has gone 19 for 123 (15 percent).
Wasabi Ventures started its Laurel streak July 1 with Nancy R, who paid $50.60 for winning a $16,000 claiming race on turf. It won two races last Saturday. Uhwarrie Sky paid $11 to win a conditioned $16,000 claimer, and Charming Emmy paid $9.60 following a $10,000 maiden race.
On Sunday, Cannon’s Roar dead-heated for first at 10-1 in a conditioned $16,000 claiming sprint on turf. He paid $11.
