War Front and sons have good weekend

War Front, the flagship sire for Claiborne Farm, and his sons succeeded on several fronts last Saturday.
War Front is the sire of a pair stakes winners this year, including Sumter, who won the Singletary Stakes on Saturday at Santa Anita. Off three straight wins, he is likely to head to the Grade 2 American Turf at Churchill Downs on Derby Day.

On Saturday, two of War Front’s sons also recorded graded stakes winners. Tiz the Bomb, by Spendthrift’s Hit It a Bomb, won the Grade 3 Jeff Ruby at Turfway, and Gufo, by Declaration of War, won the Grade 2 Pan American at Gulfstream. Declaration of War stands in Japan.
