Coady Photography Untraveled, ridden by Miguel Perez, earns her first career stakes win in the Petticoat for 3-year-old fillies.
Untraveled became a stakes winner Saturday, when she darted to a length win over Tip Top Lady in the $55,000 Petticoat Stakes at the Downs at Albuquerque. It was another two lengths back in third to Stratagem.
Untraveled ($5.60) stalked the pace early, overtook the leaders, and went on to cover the 5 1/2 furlongs for 3-year-old fillies in 1:05.50. The track was fast.
Miguel Perez was aboard for trainer Greg Green, who co-owns Untraveled with Darwin Green and Jeff Anderson.
Untraveled, a daughter of Canadian Frontier, was bred in Kentucky by Brereton Jones.
