Trixie Racer will put a perfect record on the line Friday night when she makes the move to two turns while taking on four fellow stakes winners in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat at Delta Downs.

The My Trusty Cat is a one-mile race for 2-year-old fillies. The field of 10 includes stakes winners Green Destiny, Tizfranderella, Sebs Princess, and High On Gin.

Trixie Racer is making her Delta debut after winning the first two starts of her career at Remington Park. She took a maiden special weight over 5 1/2 furlongs Aug. 29. In her other race, she closed from seventh for a nose win in the $50,000 E.L. Gaylord at 6 1/2 furlongs Sept. 29.

“I think the extra distance will suit her just fine,” said Danny Pish, who trains Trixie Racer.

Trixie Racer gets pedigree support for the task as a daughter of Orb, the 2013 winner of the Kentucky Derby. In addition, her female family produced Miss Alleged, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

KEY CONTENDERS

Trixie Racer, by Orb

Beyers: 67-57

◗ She owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure, a 67 for her win in the E.L. Gaylord.

◗ Trixie Racer will break from post 9, with Danny Sorenson aboard for Speed Racing 2018.

◗ Pish is looking for a fifth 2-year-old stakes win of 2019, with his other wins coming with Deviant and Gee She Sparkles.

Green Destiny, by Super Saver

Last 3 Beyers: 55-59-58

◗ She also invades from Remington, off a fourth-place finish as the favorite in the E.L. Gaylord. Green Destiny had won back-to-back starts prior to that race, including the Ellis Park Debutante in August.

◗ Green Destiny is making her two-turn debut. She is a daughter of Super Saver, winner of the Kentucky Derby in 2010. Her dam, Defy Gravity, was a stakes winner who earned $171,240.

◗ Joel Dominguez has the mount from post 2 for Clearsky Farms and trainer Steve Asmussen.

Sebs Princess, by Khozan

Last 3 Beyers: 62-59-41

◗ She is one of three stakes winners in the field proven at two turns, the others being Tizfranderella and High On Gin. Sebs Princess registered her stakes win on dirt, while the other two had their stakes success on turf.

◗ Sebs Princess won the $100,000 Louisiana Jewel, a seven-furlong race run around two turns at Delta. She closed from next-to-last for a 4 1/2-length win in the October race. The score came one start after a clear maiden special weight sprint victory at Louisiana Downs.
