Two swift juveniles clash

Ju Jitsu Jax, unbeaten in three starts while racing in Delaware and Maryland, will be tested by recent romping maiden winner Gonna Dash when both step up to stakes company for the first time in the $75,000 Charles Town Races and Slots Hall of Fame Cup.

The 4 1/2-furlong sprint drew a field of seven 2-year-olds.

Ju Jitsu Jax, from the high-percentage barn of Scott Lake, and Gonna Dash, a filly trained by Charles Town leader Jeff Runco, both do their best running on the front end and will break alongside each other in posts 1 and 2.

Gonna Dash, who responded to the addition of Lasix by outsprinting nine maiden rivals, got an 89 Beyer Speed Figure for her 12 1/2-length win, three points higher than Ju Jitsu Jax's best figure, and gets a three-pound advantage in the weights.
