Two put up 10-second works for OBS sale

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Two juveniles worked an eighth-mile in 10 seconds Saturday, topping the work tab at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's weekend under-tack show in Ocala, Fla.

The two under-tack sessions on Saturday and Sunday previewed the company's March select 2-year-old sale, which takes place Tuesday and Wednesday.

The two fastest eighth-mile workers were Hip No. 282, the Leprechaun Racing agency's Badge of Silver-Silver Bride filly, and Hip No. 306, a Henny Hughes-Tacticmove colt consigned by James Layden, agent.

The fastest quarter-mile work was the 21-second breeze put up by Hip No. 291, an Exchange Rate-Social Scene colt. Eisaman Equine, agent, is the consignor.

OBS has rescheduled the start time for the two-day auction's opening session on Tuesday. That session will begin at 2 p.m., and Wednesday's final session will remain at the originally scheduled start time of 11 a.m.
