Two go in 10 seconds at OBS

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Juveniles by Double Honor, Valid Expectations, Yes Its True, and Stormin Fever were the highlights at Tuesdays under-tack show for the April 21-24 Ocala Breeders Sales Company spring 2-year-olds sale.

The under-tack show opened Tuesday at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla., and was to continue through Friday.

Two juveniles, a Stormin Fever filly and a Yes Its True colt, shared the fastest eighth-mile time of 10 seconds. The Stormin Fever filly is out of First Class Donna and sells as Hip No. 314 in the Sequel Bloodstock consignment. The Yes Its True colt is offered as Hip No. 342 in the Niall Brennan Stable consignment.

The days fastest quarter-mile time was the 21 seconds put up by Hip No. 163, a Double Honor-Cool Grades colt consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, agent. And the best three-eighths-mile breeze, in 33.80 seconds, was by Hip No. 166, a Valid Expectations-Copy Queen filly offered by Sescan LLC, agent.

Tuesdays first under-tack show featured Hip Nos. 1-346. The sale catalog includes 1,381 horses. Each under-tack session begins at 9 a.m.
