TVG inks deal with new cable system

Television Games Network, the interactive horse racing broadcaster, has reached an agreement with the cable system operator Adelphia that could expand TVG's reach by 5.5 million homes.

Adelphia owns cable systems in California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia.

Of those states, account wagering is explicitly legal and ongoing in New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

TVG currently accepts bets from residents of Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Oregon.

TVG is currently available in 6.5 million households through cable systems in Louisville and Lexington and the Dish Network satellite service.
