TVG has highest handle for quarter

Television Games Network, the horse race broadcasting and account-wagering company, had record handle of $119.8 million during the third quarter of 2005, the company announced on Friday, a 32.1 percent increase over handle in the comparable quarter last year. TVG, which has agreements with most other account-wagering companies allowing its competitors to take bets on TVG's licensed tracks, also announced that handle on the Breeders' Cup card on Saturday by its customers was up 29.9 percent this year, to $4,154,332.
