TVG gets new general manager

The owner of Television Games Network, the horse racing television channel and account-wagering company, has named David Nathanson as TVG's senior vice president and general manager, the company, Gemstar-TV Guide Inc., announced on Tuesday.

Nathanson will replace Ryan O'Hara, who was named president of TV Guide Channel in August. Nathanson comes to TVG after serving for three years as general manager of Fox College Sports. Fox has an ownership interest in Gemstar-TV Guide. Nathanson also had roles in launching the Fox Reality and Fox Video-On-Demand businesses, according to Gemstar.
