Turning Top to be bred to Irish stallion Galileo

ARCADIA, Calif. - Turning Top, a Grade 3 winner in 2010 and Grade 1 stakes-placed that year, has been retired and will be bred to the Irish-based stallion Galileo, trainer Simon Callaghan said. will be bred to Irish stallion Galileo

Turning Top, 6, won 6 of 26 starts and $330,433. She won the Grade 3 Beverly Hills Handicap in 2010 and was second in the Grade 1 Yellow Ribbon Stakes later that season. In her final start for owner Michael Tabor, Turning Top was second in the Grade 2 Robert Frankel Stakes at Santa Anita on Jan. 1 of this year.

Callaghan said that Turning Top will be sent to Kentucky to complete quarantine requirements and then be sent to Ireland.
