Turnback suits Faxamillion in Spring Stakes
Coady Photography Faxamillion($5) is a length clear of Front Nine at the wire of Saturday night's $35,000 Spring Stakes at Sam Houston Race Park.
Faxamillion responded to the turnback to seven furlongs with a one-length win over Front Nine in the $35,000 Spring Stakes for statebreds on Saturday night at Sam Houston Race Park.
It was another 11.25 lengths back in third to Social Expense.
Faxamillion($5) stalked the pace early in the Spring, took the lead in the stretch and went on to cover the distance in 1:24.68. Jeremy Beasley rode the winner for Heiligbrodt Racing Stable and leading trainer Steve Asmussen.
