Turf Paradise: Social Order's number put up

Social Order was moved up to first via the disqualification of original winner Along Came Jones in the $30,000 Princess of Palms Handicap at Turf Paradise.

Along Came Jones, under Daniel Vergara, came out sharply into the lane, bumping into rivals and causing a chain reaction. She continued on for the three-quarter-length win but was disqualified and placed fourth.

Trained by Molly Pearson, Social Order was last for the first half-mile of the six-furlong event for 3-year-old fillies and mares, swung wide into the lane, then got knocked around in the bumping incident but finished gamely to be second under Glenn Corbett before being moved up to first. Trojan Victory was another 3 3/4 lengths back in third and got second money via the disqualification, with Rita Katrina moving to third from fourth in the field of eight.

Social Order ($19.80), a 5-year-old mare, covered the distance in 1:10.09.
