Trust N Seven by a neck in Miss Indiana

Trust N Seven dueled from start to finish and prevailed by neck in the $100,000 Miss Indiana at Hoosier Park on Saturday.

Jockey Orlando Mojica used the inside post to his advantage in the eight-horse field and gunned Trust N Seven to the lead in the six-furlong Miss Indiana. Trained by Mike Lauer, Trust N Seven led by a head at every call while dueling for the lead with Nightly Ritual. It was nearing the wire that the 2-year-old was able to extend her lead to a neck. Maid to a Tee was 9 1/4 lengths back in third.

The running of the Miss Indiana was disrupted by the longest shot in the race, Eskimos Best, who lost her rider at the start and caused several horses trouble throughout the race. Trust N Seven retuned $7.40 and ran the six furlongs in 1:13.00 over a fast track.
