Trust N Seven has Nightly Ritual's number again

Trust N Seven prevailed over Nightly Ritual and six other Indiana-bred 3-year-old fillies in the $70,000 Ellen's Lucky Star at Indiana Downs on Friday evening.

Trained by Mike Lauer, Trust N Seven was kept just off the early pace by jockey Leandro Goncalves before rallying into the stretch. Trust N Seven dueled with Nightly Ritual through the stretch and prevailed by three-quarters of a length. My Isabell was five lengths back in third.

It is the fourth time in five lifetime starts that Trust N Luck has faced Nightly Ritual, and she has now won three of the meetings. Trust N Seven ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:10.40 on Friday and returned $9.40 to win, setting off a $58.60 exacta.
