On Sunday, the 5-year-old Treve will start at a racecourse a matter of miles from Longchamp when she runs in the $448,000 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud against males.The Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, run at 1 1/2 miles on turf, will be the second start of the year for Treve. Treve faces Dolniya and Flintshire, who were first and second in the $6 million Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan Racecourse in the United Arab Emirates on March 28 and second and third behind Pether’s Moon in the Group 1 Coronation Cup in England on June 6.Andre Fabre trains Flintshire, who was second in the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Santa Anita last November. In the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, Fabre also starts the promising colt Manatee, who won the Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly on May 31.◗ In Ireland, Legatissimo, the winner of the Group 1 English 1000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 3, will have her first start against older fillies and mares in Sunday’s $280,000 Pretty Polly Stakes at 1 1/4 miles on turf at The Curragh.Trained by David Wachman for the Coolmore team of Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith, Legatissimo was second as the 5-2 favorite in the Group 1 English Oaks at Epsom on June 5, losing by a head to Qualify, a 50-1 outsider.The field for the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes includes Brooch, who is undefeated in four starts, including the Group 2 Lanwades Stud Stakes at The Curragh on May 23, and Pleascach, the winner of the Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas on May 24 and the runner-up in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 18.Trainer Aidan O’Brien starts Diamondsandrubies, who won the Cheshire Oaks in England on May 6 and was fourth in the Epsom Oaks.
