Total rushed up to pressure Cat On a Cloud for the lead from the outside on the backstretch of the six-furlong race, kept the pressure on winding around the turn, and edged away straightening for home as Cat On a Cloud began to wilt.

Total hit the wire in a sharp 1:10.05 and paid $7.80. Pro Pink, 8-1, rallied from seventh in the field of nine to nip Cat On a Cloud by a nose for second .
