TOBA to honor Repole, Ramseys, Team Valor, Zetcher Racing Stable, and others at annual awards dinner

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Mike Repole, Ken and Sarah Ramsey, Team Valor, and Zetcher Racing Stable are among owners and breeders that the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will honor Sept. 7 at its annual National Awards Dinner here.

The dinner will take place at Keeneland’s entertainment center, where TOBA also will name its National Owner of the Year, National Breeder of the Year, and National Small Breeder of the Year. Repole, the Ramseys, Team Valor, and Zetcher are TOBA’s owners of the year in the Eastern, Midwestern, Southern, and Western regions, respectively.

In addition to the owner awards, TOBA will recognize the achievements of breeders in 23 states and Canada. The organization also will honor Oatsee as the Broodmare of the Year and will present the Rood & Riddle Thoroughbred Sport Horse of the Year Award to the owner of a former racehorse that excelled in sport horse competitions tracked by the United States Equestrian Federation.
