?q=100)
Cecil Hanover, Crown, Instagram Model and Sadie Hanover were the winners in New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old trotters on Friday night at Tioga Downs. All of the victorious sophomores were sired by Chapter Seven.
Racing in a $57,000 non-wagering tilt, Cecil Hanover (Ake Svanstedt) led through panels of 27 1/5, 57 2/5 and 1:25 2/5 on his way to a 1:52 4/5 victory, defeating pocket-sitter Sevecheetah (Joe Bongiorno) by 2 1/2 lengths. Kilmister (Brian Sears) checked in third.
Svanstedt also trains and co-owns Cecil Hanover, who was bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, with partners S R F Stable, Midnight Sun Partners Inc., and Jorgen Sparredal Inc. This was his third career win, and he has now earned $149,513.
Chapercraz (Bongiorno) posted fractions of 27 3/5, 56 1/5 and 1:24 2/5 and held off Crown (Sears) by a nose in a 1:52 4/5 mile in the second $57,000 split for the colts and geldings. However, following an inquiry, the judges decided that Chapercraz had gained an unfair advantage by going inside a pylon on the final bend and reversed the order of the exacta, promoting Crown to the win. You Got It (Tyler Buter) collected third.
Crown, bred by Order By Stable AB, is trained by Marcus Melander for owner S R F Stable. Crown has a record of 5-3-1 from 11 starts, has now pocketed $221,779, and returned $7.10 to win as the 5-2 second choice.

In the first $59,200 grouping for the fillies, Instagram Model (Scott Zeron) carved out stations of 28 2/5, 57 2/5 and 1:26 on her way to a 2 1/4 length decision over Usosweet Blue Chip (Marcus Miller), with On The House (Svanstedt) back in the third spot.
Last year's Jim Doherty Memorial winner, Instagram Model hails from the Annie Stoebe barn and is owned by R. Lynn Curry. Instagram Model, who was bred by Steve Jones and Ray Schnittker, made her sixth appearance in the winner's circle, pushed her bankroll to $299,317, and paid $2.20 to win as the 1-9 favorite.
Sadie Hanover gave Zeron a sweep of the sire stakes for the ladies as she followed Gigi Hanover (Svanstedt) from second-over, then surged by her in the stretch to prevail by a length in 1:52 4/5 in the other $60,300 showdown. Kayleigh S (Sears) grabbed third. Royal Filly (Buter) was the leader at the 27 2/5 quarter, 56 second half, and 1:24 1/5 three-quarters but faded to sixth at the wire.
Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Sadie Hanover is a Linda Toscano-trained filly for owners The Bay's Stable LLC., Blue Ridge Stable, Carmen Iannacone, and Gary Cocco. She's been victorious in five of her nine trips behind the gate, has put away $99,312, and returned $2.80 to win as the 2-5 favorite.
