Tioga Downs: Zero Tolerance impresses again in Reynolds romp

Zero Tolerance ran her win streak to four in a Reynolds division for rookie pacing fillies on Sunday afternoon at Tioga Downs.
Driven by David Miller, Zero Tolerance won the $56,300 contest by 4 3/4 lengths in 1:53 2/5 after leading the way through fractions of 28 1/5, 57 4/5, and 1:26. Prairie Westerngal (Jim Meittinis) and Simone (Homer Hochstetler) were second and third.
"She's acted like a special filly and this has been our plan all along," offered winning trainer Joe Holloway. "She goes to Hoosier, then to Lexington and the Breeders Crown. David's been very happy with her, and she hasn't really showed a bottom."
Holloway trains Zero Tolerance, a daughter of Heston Blue Chip, for owners Val D'Or Farms and Ted Gewertz. She has five wins and a second from six starts, and she has now earned $90,041. Zero Tolerance, who was bred by Winbak Farm, sold for $30,000 at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale and is out of the Artiscape mare Feelinglikeastar (2:02 3/5, $5,180), a full sister to Rainbow Blue (1:49 2/5, $1,428,934). Zero Tolerance was the 1-9 favorite and paid $2.10 to win.
Miller and Holloway and the Val D'Or/Gewertz group would also win a $37,250 Reynolds 2-year-old filly trot division with Starita. The daughter of Trixton led at every call and stopped the clock in 1:55 4/5, missing the track record by just three-fifths of a second.
"She handled it really well. She's been pretty good gaited the whole time," said the winning driver. "She's maturing and getting stronger each time."
Tim Tetrick also had a double in the Reynolds, bagging the $66,600 dash for pacing colts with Western Ideal colt Mangogh in 1:53 4/5, and the other $37,750 flight for trotting fillies with Muscle Hill daughter Cloud Nine Fashion in 1:57.
"I felt pretty good. He's pretty quick off the car, and I got where I wanted to be," stated Tetrick of Mangogh, who is trained by Bruce Saunders for owners M And L Of Delaware LLC. and M & M Harness Racing LLC. "Down the backside he swelled up good, and in the stretch he's a little lazy, but he responded whenever I chased him."
Cloud Nine Fashion, trained by Jim Campbell for owner Fashion Farms LLC., is now four-for-four in her racing career.
"She was a special filly training down. She's done everything and more that we've asked of her," Campbell said. "We're planning on taking her down to Lexington. She's got a big motor in her."
Rounding out the Reynolds victors for the day was No Drama Please, who annexed the sole $69,300 race for trotting males in 1:56 for Andy and Julie Miller and owner Stroy Inc.
"He's been pretty good," remarked Andy Miller about the Trixton colt. "Today he was on his game and didn't make a mistake. He's got some speed when he behaves."
